East Green Child Care Services Ltd are an award winning nanny agency based in Tonbridge, Kent covering Kent, Sussex, Surrey & SE London. Established in 1996, finding nannies and helping families for 30yrs, East Green caters for both, parents looking for child care and nannies looking for work.

Sole Charge Nanny - Sole charge nanny required to care for initially one child and then the family's new baby. The eldest child will be 4.5yrs on commencement and the baby is due in October '26. Care of the baby is expected to be from approx. 4months. The role can be daily or live in, if daily the hours required are either full time 7.30am-6pm Mon-Fri or 3 full days 7.30-6pm and 2 afternoons 3pm-6pm all year round. If live-in the hours are 7.30am-6pm Mon-Fri. A daily nanny is also welcome to stay over 1/2 nights per week if this eases a commute.

The family currently have a nanny who is retiring after working for the family for 4yrs. The child also attends nursery which he will leave in July, and then be with the nanny for the Summer holidays before starting school in September. A good understanding of the transitions he is facing is required and how to make these all go smoothly e.g. leaving nursery, change of nanny, starting school and a new sibling.

Parents do work from home, and also in the office but both have separate offices away from the main living areas. The family also have a small dog, no care is required of her except letting her into the garden or feeding her if parents are not around to do so.
A driver is essential, the location is rural and so the nanny must be comfortable with this, a car can potentially be provided for work hours if required. If using your own car, petrol will be reimbursed.
The family are seeking a long term nanny and the ideal candidate will love a routine, enjoy the outside and day trips, have lots of energy, be fun, have lots of initiative and enjoy keeping both of the children stimulated, understand developmental stages of a baby and be experienced with baby care e.g. weaning etc. The nanny must be a swimmer and the family have a pool outside for Summer months. Full nursery duties are required.
The family also have 2 holiday homes in the UK and ideally they would like the nanny to accompany them to these for a maximum of 1 week at a time, although this isn't an essential.
If live in, you will be provided with a separate one bedroom annex away from the main house with its own entrance and private courtyard.

Occasional babysitting is also required, always with advanced notice and occasional overnight care is also required 4-5 times per year for a max of 3 nights.
This role will suit a traditional, career nanny who is discreet and able to blend into a family.
