HOW DO I BECOME OFSTED REGISTERED?
To become OFSTED registered, which allows your employers to use childcare vouchers, you must meet certain criteria, this being:
hold a recognised childcare qualification
hold a current paediatric 1st aid qualification
have a Enhanced DBS on the update service
hold a personal liability insurance policy
The process can take quite a few weeks to complete so best to start it as soon as you are asked to. Nannies only need to register on the Voluntary part of the OFSTED register.
You will need to create a government gateway ID and then complete a CR1 form.
